Balayage Hand Dyed

Balayage is an alpaca-merino mix which stands out because of its fantastic color palette. This yarn has a light mottled grey shade, achieved by combining 80% white and grey baby alpaca fibers with 20% organic merino wool. This combination creates a natural hand-dyed color feel. Balayage is perfect for shawls and scarves. It also lends itself beautifully to sweaters and cardigans. Its fine stitch definition is ideal for cables, lace and colorwork such as Fair Isle. The mixture of delicate baby alpaca and fine merino wool makes Balayage a yarn that is soft and gentle on the skin. It can be worn by those with the most sensitive skin and is also suitable for baby and children's clothing and accessories. To top it off, these hand-dyed colors have a sister yarn named Balayage that comes in solid colors.
