Alpine Bloom Hat

This Scandinavian-inspired floral design is a fun and striking knit! This fun colorwork hat pattern is written for both child and adult sizes. Two color knitting, chart reading in the round and a beautiful pattern combine to make this a fun class with a great hat as a result.
You must already know the knitting basics: cast on, knit, purl, decreasing and increasing.

1, 2, 3: To fit child, adult S/M, adult L/XL

Needles
Main: US 5 / 16” circular needle and US 5 DPNs.
Ribbing: US 3 / 16” circular needle
Yarn
Two colors of sport weight yarn
MC: 110, 120, 130 yards
CC: 80, 90, 100 yards
Please note that yardage is estimated and can vary between knitters and yarn used.
Gauge
24 sts and 30 rounds over 4” in colorwork pattern on main needle, after blocking

You will get instructions from the teacher Susan about how to start and complete the ribbing before the first class.
