Learn to Crochet with Marianna
This class will teach you the basics of crochet. This class meets twice.
The stitches you learn in this class open nearly the whole world of crochet to you!
In the first session you will learn how to hold a hook and yarn, how to make a chain, and how to single crochet.
The second session will teach you how to make a half double crochet and a double crochet stitch.
Supplies required are one skein of Encore Worsted or similar worsted weight yarn, in a light color, and a size H (5mm) crochet hook.

| Instructor Bio: | Marianna learned to crochet in her junior year of high school so she could make a "mood" version of one of those trendy temperature blankets for her senior year. She's spent the last five years since then exploring the world of crochet and teaching others along the way. She's taught several people individually, taught children to crochet at a summer camp two years in a row, and recently ran a crochet-along with several beginners at Smith College. |
