Citrus Hat

Prerequisites: You must already know how to cast on using the long tail cast on as well as how to knit and purl.

Please choose yarn at Northampton Wools so that we can make sure you start with the appropriate materials.

Matrerials: You will need to choose a worsted weight yarn with 150 yards and have a 16" circular needle size 7, and double pointed needles size 7. Tape measure and yarn needle for weaving in ends.

This hat pattern is a good way to advance basic knitting skills by knitting in the round using a circular needle and/or double pointed needles. You will also get a taste of how to use the Magic Loop technique. The pattern has enough texture to make it an engaging knit. It will make a great gift too.
