Escape to the Cape

We are ready to take reservations for the 2027 Escape to the Cape.


When:
March 12th, 13th and 14th 2026.- Arrive sometime on Friday and settle in to the hotel. We meet in the Captain's Room for a light potluck around 6pm. Then at 7:30 it will be time for the cast on party!  Stay up as late as you like- or get some sleep!

Where:
The Hampton Inn Cape Cod Canal located at12 Kendall Rae Place, Bourne, Ma 02532. Reservations can be made with the code NHW or call them at 877-504-8574 or www.HamptonInnCapeCodCanal.com and be sure to tell them that you are part of the Northampton Wools group. Make your reservation by Jan. 30, 2026. We have a special rate of $159.00.

The Schedule:
Friday night meet up and cast on party.

Saturday:
Breakfast then class begins at 9:00 am in the Canal Room.
Lunch will be delivered by 12 noon.
Class resumes at 1:30 and ends at 5pm.
Dinner on your own.
Informal knitting session from around 8:00 until?

Sunday
Breakfast then meet at 9:00 am. Finish up class by 10:30. Check out and clean up.

What you Get:
This year Linda will be teaching a Petite Knit Design called Storm. This is a top down pullover with several different stitch patterns to add texture and interest to the knit. If you have been intimidated by Petite knit designs but love the look then Linda will break the code and you will be ready to knit all of Petite Knit Designs. You will get a goodie bag of surprises. You will get a weekend of instruction from Linda and hopefully you will leave with a nearly completed yoke with instructions on how to complete the body of the sweater.

What you need to bring:
Bring the appropriate needles for that pattern, as well as needles two sizes up and down in case your gauge is off. Linda will help you find the right yarn for this project in colors that you will love. When you register Linda will send a list of yarn options that you can choose from. Bring a tool kit- scissors, tape measure, markers, etc. We will take measurements and discuss gauge on Friday night. 

Lunch is included in the price, We will have a platter of sandwiches and sides delivered to the hotel. If you have any food allergies please let me know. Breakfast is included at the hotel.
