Escape to the Cape

We are ready to take reservations for the 2026 Escape to the Cape.

Choose one of these sweaters- Var by  Ragga Eiríksdóttir  or   Apothecary by Saskie co  or  Treelight by Jenn Steingass
When:
March 6th, 7th and 8th 2026.- Arrive sometime on Friday and settle in to the hotel. We meet in the Captain's Room for a light potluck around 6pm. Then at 7:30 it will be time for the cast on party!  Stay up as late as you like- or get some sleep!

Where:
The Hampton Inn located on Rte 28 in West Yarmouth. Reservations can be made with the code NWH or call them at 508-862 9010 and be sure to tell them that you are part of the Northampton Wools group. Make your reservation by Jan. 30, 2026.

The Schedule:
Friday night meet up and cast on party.

Saturday:
Breakfast then class begins at 9:00 am in the Captain's Room.
Lunch will be delivered by 12 noon.
Class resumes at 1:30 and ends at 5pm.
Dinner on your own.
Informal knitting session from around 8:00 until?

Sunday
Breakfast then meet at 9:00 am. Finish up class by 10:30. Check out and clean up.

What you Get:
This year Linda will be teaching circular knitting and colorwork using a top down colorwork yoke sweater. You should choose one of the three selections as your project. You will get a goodie bag of surprises. You will get a weekend of instruction from Linda and hopefully you will leave with a nearly completed yoke with instructions on how to complete the body of the sweater.

What you need to bring:
Make your sweater choice and bring the appropriate needles for that pattern. Linda will help you find the right yarn for this project in colors that you will ove.  Bring a tool kit- scissors, tape measure, markers, etc. We will take measurements and discuss gauge on Friday night. 

Lunch is included in the price, We will have a platter of sandwiches and sides delivered to the hotel. If you have any food allergies please let me know. Breakfast is included at the hotel.

The cost of the hotel is separate and not included.

When you register Linda will contact you to give you instructions on where to choose lunch and answer any questions you may have.
