Aran Cables and Twists

Here is an opportunity to learn to knit cables-they are easier than you think. Straight from the Aran Islands, Linda will help demystify four different combinations of  cable patterns that were given out during her trip to Ireland. From the classic rope cable to a more complicated herringbone cable- the class will focus on a different pattern each week. At the end of the session you will have created four 9 by 9” squares to be joined to form an 18 by 18” pillow top. You will need a cable needle, 400 yds of worsted weight yarn in a light color, size 7 needles (circular or straight, whichever you choose).
