Sunday Nov. 10, 17 and 24 from noon til 2pm.
Must be available for all three sessions.
Pattern: Mad Tosh Baby Raglan (get the pattern in the shop)
Objective: To develop an understanding of raglan sweater construction and complete a child’s raglan sweater. If you can make this, you can make your own!
Materials
- Worsted weight yarn (light colors are best) - Plymouth Encore or Plymouth Select are good choices to check out
- Yarn amount depends on selected size (suggested 3-6 month sweater uses approximately 350-400 yards if knit to gauge); sleeves can be shortened to accommodate yardage
- For sweater body: Needle in size US7 and 8 (or size needed to get gauge of 5 stitches over 1” with the yarn selected) - 24” circular needle; if you also have a 16”, that will be useful
- For sleeves: Needle in same size as above - 40” circular needle; if you have a 32” circular needle, we can make that work
- 5 stitch markers (1 should be unique for beginning of round)
- Your knitting toolkit (scissors, waste yarn, darning needle)
