Skills Required
- Familiarity with magic loop is a plus
- Must know cast on, bind off, knit, purl
Materials
- Worsted weight yarn (light colors are best)
- Yarn amount depends on selected size (suggested 3-6 month sweater uses approximately 220 yards if knit to gauge); sleeves can be shortened to accommodate yarn needs; body takes about 170 yards
- For sweater body: Needle in size US7 (or size needed to get gauge of 5 stitches over 1” with the yarn selected) - 24” circular needle; if you also have a 16”, that will be useful
- For sleeves: Needle in same size as above - 40” circular needle; if you have a 32” circular needle, we can make that work
