Basic hat
After taking the Learn to Knit in Three Hours class, you may be eager to take the next steps. Our new Basic Knitting Series will take you through the the techniques you need to knit lots of fun and interewsting items. We begin with a basic hat which will teach you to knit in the round on circular and double pointed needles. Teach you the ribbing stitch, use of markers, and decreases.

| Skill Details: | Learn to cast onto a circular needle, join without twisting, work in ribbing pattern, use markers, decrease in 2 different directions, weave in ends and knit on double pointed needles. |

| Requirements: | Must know how to cast on, knit and purl. If you have taken the learn to knit in three hours class then you are all readu for this class. Please buy a 16" circular size 10 and double pointed needles size 10 and one sk of bulky weight yarn from Northampton Wools. |
