NoHo Wools Book
Published and released in September 2006, this book is a collection of some of the favorite patterns designed by Linda Daniels and the staff at Northampton Wools. Linda has been designing sweaters and writing patterns for over 25 years. She designed and knit the vest for Michael Caine and two sweaters for Charlize Theron to wear in ” Cider House Rules”. Several of her designs have been published in Interweave Knits.
The patterns selected for the book have proven to be the ones our long time customers have returned to time and again. We hope you find inspiration and knitting delight within its pages.
Book Corrections:
I really tried to make sure that all the patterns on the book were accurate and problem free. For the most part they are, but as knitters have worked up the patterns a few problems have been discovered. I sincerely hope that the majority of knitters will be able to fix these little stumbling blocks themselves, as they seem to be logical typing errors rather than big knitting bloopers. In any event, here are the corrections to the things we have already discovered. If you find any mistakes, please let us know so that they can be added to this site.
Two Color Two Hand Hat
Pg 7. The pattern says, ” increasing in every 10th st”. This is fine for the small size, but the larger size should say ” increasing in every 9th st ten times.”
Fancy Watch Cap
Pg 16. On rnd 4 of the decrease for the crown the pattern says, “*K1, P1, DDR, P1, (K1, P1) 3 times, DDL, rep the entire sequence from the *”. It should say, “* K1, P1, DDR, P1, (K1, P1) 3 times, DDL, P1, rep the entire sequence from the *.”
Double Cable Pullover
Pg 73. On row 2 of the cable panel the pattern says, ” K2, P6, K2, P10, K6, P2. The pattern should say, “K2, P6, K2, P10, K2, P6, K2.” Also on pg 73, Row 11 should read: “As row 1.”
Fandango Fun Baby Cardigan
Pg 100. The schematic pictured does not correspond to the sweater.
